My ‘Integral Investment Approach’ is based on the global common good: respect for the person; social well-being and development; peace and security.
One-third of the portfolio is dedicated to economic inclusion of overlooked regions via fixed income investments. Another third, on average, is allocated to specific development opportunities: equity markets of countries with high scores regarding needs and policies. The remainder is in cash and lower-risk investments. Allocations shift with tactical risk management based on global market levels. Alternative assets (private equity, impact investments) can be included as growth allows. The model has exhibited sustainable backtested performance since the start of the New Millennium.
In addition, I have created several index strategies. Each one selects and weights countries based on a specific development theme. They provide alternatives to mainstream indexes that weight by market capitalization.
